Keith D. Guernsey is retired after a 40 year career in sales and sales management with Data General, Cahners Publishing, Motorola and Comcast. He lives on Lake Lanier with his wife Susan and his four-footed adopted daughter Zoey. Keith is the author of four popular, successful books. He is currently working with the Cresswind Performing Arts Club. Past board member of ITNLanier. He has just been appointed as a Myeloma Coach. Keith enjoys reading, writing and traveling with his family.

“On the Road to Remission” chronicles my year and a half battle with a non-curable form of cancer called Multiple Myeloma.

While I have never experienced life as Keith has, one will certainly ask how does he manage to survive mentally and physically. In the the thirty plus years I have had the privilege of knowing Keith this book depicts a patient who conquers the odds by being the coach and player. His writing is as much about the crisis as it’s about teamwork.”

So that everyone suffering from cancer knows that there is always hope.

Cancer can’t and won’t win!

Can you share your writing rituals/habits/process?
I start writing at 0700 every morning after a pulse-pounding one hour workout, gets the blood flowing!

Yes, Zoey is our newly adopted daughter and the love of our life
What is the most romantic thing you ever did?
I kiss my wife every morning and tell her that I love her.
What is the most romantic thing someone did for you?
My wife Susan became my caregiver (and did a phenomenal job!) during my most recent battle with cancer.
